Not that I would ever consider myself any sort of an authority on how The Church should run things, but I have just decided that tithing and fast offerings would probably have a much higher success rate if they offered online payments. Just sayin'... I pay all my bills online or have auto drafts and it is great. I don't have to use checks, cash, money orders, etc. and I can track all of my payments. How nice would it be to log into LDS.org and click on a "pay tithes and offering" tab and bam, it's done.
Clearly I rely on modern technology and the internet too much.... like I said...it was just an idea.

Holy smokes, i totally agree. I work sundays and never get to go to my ward so it's SOoO hard to pay tithing!
I quite like that idea.
I had a long discussion about this very thing a few months ago with some friends. Some said that it took the action out of the commandment... the action of handing money to the bishop or something. And that that action was important...
I think that's hoakie and that we should just pay online. The end.
