This season is over. That sucks the wind right outta my sails. It is at the end of basketball season every year, that I see just how pathetically boring my life is and my priorities a bit out of order... so perhaps the break is good. But as these Finals came to a close, I realized it is official... more than ever...I am a jazz fan. I love them.
When I am grown and my kids are in school, I plan on working. My salary will be solely for the purpose of hubby and I to be entertained. This means attending Wimbledon at least once (and subsequently, hanging out abroad...), paying for races and triathlons (they're like $80 a piece to participate, not to mention all the stuff...), traveling (climbing cool mountains in India, and such), and sitting court side at a Finals game. When J and I were discussing this, he asked who I hope to see in the Finals, and my actual answer was the Jazz. Immediately. So while that may be far fetched, that is the dream and it solidified my love of the Jazz.
With basketball being over it is time for baseball and tennis!!
... and for me to get my own butt off of the couch to be more productive. So I am....
1. reading 3 amazing books right now. (AMAZING)
2. training for the half marathon with J. (lord bless my shins)
3. meeting new people. (i need to grease up my social skills...)
4. going on a lot of dates. (oh the adventures!)
5. going CO for the best experience of my life.
(my parents live there...gorgeous huh?)
6. volunteering at the special Olympics. (I am so excited)
7. working. (summer sales season...yikes)
Busy, happy, productive girl. Just the way I like it.
***Congratulations to my bubby cakes on his first fish. and what a sweet boy he said, "I am going to eat him! Mommy will cook him and I will cut him up in a lot of little pieces so that we can each have a bite." (he proceeded to name off every member of the family- they will be very small bites- including his unborn sibling in my sister's tummy. Oh i love that boy. And I cannot wait until we go fishing together next month***
