what is love.

according to some children, very wise beyond their years, love is:

"when the way they same your name is different. you just know that your name is safe in their mouth" - billy, age 4.

"when a girl puts on perfume and boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other"- karl, age 5.

"when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your french fries without making them give you any of their's." - chrissy, age 6.

"when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure that the taste is ok." danny, age 7.

love is also when your boyfriend stays in provo 3 extra days so that you don't have to be alone because you have to stay longer and work. and when he picks out really cute shoes for you and makes all the other girls jealous. or when he shares your toothbrush and does baking soda microdermibrasion with you. or when he lays there and laughs and talks in funny voices with you. and when he kisses you and you tingle. and when he drives you around everywhere because you are afraid of driving at night, even though his car gets horrible gas mileage. and when he tells you that you aren't fat but that we should probably start running together.

those things are love too.
