just a bit too early.

once upon a time i bought a plasma tv. two months later, the newer model came out and my tv was discounted $250. another time i bought a nikon camera. one month later the new (and much improved) coolpix came out for the same price that i had paid for mine. oh and princess shiba- while she is a great laptop- same exact thing happened. three months later, the newer edition was in stores.  

well...this weekend we went to st. george. the ladies and i have been excited about this for weeks.  we were dying to be warm, get some hiking in at zions, be bronzed and happy. we planned everything out, everyone got school and work completed in time to go... it snowed and rained the entire time. like big snow. bad driving, slushy stuff and cats and dogs kind of rain. but of course, as we were coming back today, the weather took a sudden turn to this:

it was beautiful. of course, right when we are packing up to leave. but OH WELL! because we still had a fabulous time and it was a great remedy for provo blues.

we may or may have not totally dressed appropriately for the blizzard that hit the first day we were there.

but we managed to stay happy and have fun. 

i think that the gourmet cookies from the shack on the side of the road helped. no really, they were so good. can you not tell from anna's face?

we were fortunate enough to have a free stay at sach's parent's house in st.george. the place was great. i never wanted to leave. it is amazing what a difference a water softener, heated toilet seats, pretty applicances, and big huge comfy beds (with silky sheets...ahhhhhh) can do. 

we caught up on some movies, read books, played games, hung around some shops, saw tdawg and crew and ate. a lot.  it was restful, filling and fun. oh and such a great beiber experience.

i am really lucky to have these girls for neighbors.  there is a bit of an age spread between us, but we all get along so well. we had some great pillow talk about our lives, our families, the gospel, school, pretty much everything and it just reminded me of how blessed i am to have friends like these (and they are females!!! i have girlfriends!!) in my life. they are all quiet, humble and compassionate examples to me.  next year we will be roommates and it will be great. parties in #9.
