ThanKful.

Tonight Hillary and I went to see the movie Angels and Demons. I had read the book several years ago and I recall enjoying the read, but could not really remember many of the specifics. We really liked the movie and the suspense. BUt when it was over, all I could think about was just how grateful I am to be LDS and to not ever have to go through what the Catholics did in that movie/novel.

I have nothing against Catholicism, most of my friends back home and the maternal side of my family are good catholic people. And I admire their faith and kindess. I do realize that this was a fictional story, but it was based upon how the catholic church chooses its leadership. Through this movie I really saw where they could, and often times did, err.

To be put simply, I am so grateful to know that I belong to the LDS church. I often take it for granted and do not outwardly show my devotion as much as I should in my everyday life. But believe it or not, this movie was quite the testimony builder for me. I walked out feeling so blessed. KNOWING that the Lord would never allow evil to infiltrate His chuch leadedrship or allow those of authority to lead us astray.
