
1. My family- I am bad at keeping in touch, but I do love them and appreciate the times that we do have with each other. I am proud of each one of them and grateful that they put up with me.
2. My Friends- it's been a rocky year, but I have the greatest friends a girl could ask for- and so it has been bearable with a lot of laughs and tears. Many friends have been stolen away to matrimony and mother/fatherhood, but they are still fun loving, caring, loyal friends forever.

3. My job. It pisses me off and exhausts me. But it pays me well, I am respected and love the people that I work with and for. It literally is my second family!
4. My belief in the gospel. Sometimes I miss church, many times I do things that I know are wrong. Sometimes I forget to do the easy things I know that I sho

5. I do not need surgery!! I went to follow-up check up and the hernia is healing and I am doing just fine. But I am glad that I took my mom and friends' advice and got it examined. The pain is gone, the swelling is no more, everything is feeling much better (no more excuses for a tummy!).
6. And then I am grateful for a lot of other random things...books, sunshine, new shoes, strong workouts, cute babies, basketball games, movies, iGoogle, down comforters, the new Tide detergent, Verizon coverage maps, hair dryers (and styling serum to protect from split ends), vacuums, my hippopotumus stapler, green grass, Schmookims, scissors, Juicy perfume, dictionaries, pull up assist machines, art galleries, flip flops, thoughtfulness, clorox wipes, digital cameras, "extra 25% off Sale Items" signs, nighties, protein shakes, inside jokes, institute, Sally, Southwest Airlines Get Away deals, TV on DVD, finding that DVD remote, Princess Shiba, fresh sheets, e-mails, when I don't lose a sock from the sock monster who lives in the laundry room, the roo pack (IT IS NOT A FANNY PACK!!!), cute clocks and lamps, organizational supplies, smart people, wise people- definitely not the same thing, colors, memory foam mattress toppers, crest whitestrips, General Conference, iPods, spell check, naps, real conversations, scarves, singing, the perfect pen, when people return your pens, deodorant, globes, my patriarchal blessing, laughing, romance in small increments, city league sports teams, light bulb moments, not being bald, dressing up with the ladies, The Ladies, oh and the Golden Girls.
